Day 1: TANGIER Transfer from AIRPORT or PORT.
Day 02: TANGIER - TETOUAN - CHAOUEN Orientation sightseeing tour of Tangier including the HERCULES CAVES, and the KASBAH, with its Museum.
Short scenic drive to TETOUAN, a unique Hispano-Moroccan look and feel, with a conglomeration of cheerfully white-washed and tiled buildings , set against the RIF MOUNTAINS.
Visit of the ARTISANAL SCHOOL, featuring Moroccan arts and crafts.
Overnight will be spent in the lovely village of CHAOUEN.
Day 03: CHAOUEN A day at leisure in this delightful town, set on a valley in the RIF MOUNTAINS.
We highly recommend a walk to a spring, where the RAS EL MA river pours out of the rock.
Day 04: CHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES We will cross OUEZZANE , lying in rolling hills at the southern edge of the RIF. OUEZZANE, is another town, to which Andalucian refugees, many of them jews, feld in the 15th century.
Visit of the Roman Ruins of VOLUBILIS and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss.
Day 05: MEKNES - FES Morning, orientation tour of MEKNES, which will include the Bab El Mansour, Hari Souani and Moulay Ismail Mosque and Sanctuary.
Short drive to FES via the Saiss plain.
Day 06: FES his full day will be devoted to the most andalucian city : FES, which was founded in 790 B.C. by Moulay Idriss II.
Transportation means in this medieval medina are still mules.
Highlights will include the Medersas, El Karaouine Mosque, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the spices market..
Day 07: FES - RABAT RABAT : capital of Morocco.
Visit of the King's Palace and its Mechouar, Mohamed 5th Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and Oudayas Gardens.
