Etymologically, "Riad" means "Garden".
Riads benefit, since the 1990s , from a renewal of interest due to the will of a protection of the heritage.
That is why, number of them was reconverted "Maisons d'hotes" or "Boutique Hotels".

The Amelkis Golf Club

The Amelkis Golf Club is a magnificent 18- hole course interspersed by groves of palms and papyrus reed.
With its bunkers, rolling terrain, water traps and exotic rough, the "Amelkis" course is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains and has been inaugurated in 1995, in conformity with Cabell Robinson's design, which respects the windings and small red hills of the course.
