Etymologically, "Riad" means "Garden".
Riads benefit, since the 1990s , from a renewal of interest due to the will of a protection of the heritage.

Ouarzazate Royal Golf Club can be described as an oasis of green in an otherwise arid desert.
The 9-hole, par 36 course, which extends over 3043 meters is built around a lake and offers uninterrupted views of the High Atlas from all points.
